ReeFlowers Pure Strontium contains high purity Strontium. Strontium is found in the skeleton of coral, fish, and invertebrate organisms. It forms approximately % 1 percent of coral skeletons. ReeFlowers Pure Strontium contains a minimum of 500,000 ppm strontium per kilogram.
Strontium converts ions into inorganic solutions which promotes skeleton development and growth. Its strong connective structure allows it to strengthen the skeleton. A deficiency of strontium dulls colors and weakens the skeleton.

Strontium consumption rates are different for each aquarium. Strontium's consumption rate is, on average, equal to % 1 of the consumption rate of calcium.
After measuring calcium consumption through periodic testing, add 0.1 gr Pure Strontium (1 ml Pure Strontıum = ~1,4 gr) per 100 lt for 30 ppm calcium consumption. The suggested quantity should be dissolved in fresh water and added to the sump.
