ReeFlowersAquaPlants Liquid Carbon contains a highly concentrated liquid carbon source. It has been specially formulated for aquarium plants.
Carbon is used during the process of photosynthesis and is one of the basic elements that plants need for development. Carbon deficiency will end growth and germination.
ReeFlowersAquaPlants Liquid Carbon may be used as an alternative or as a supplement to CO2. It helps promote development and reproduction of micro-organisms living within the sand and water and prevents algae. It also helps convert iron from Fe3+ (naturally found in water) to Fe2+ form, which is easier for plants to use.
INSTRUCTIONS
It is recommended to use a daily dosage of 1 ml per 100 lt in a freshwater aquarium with medium plant density. If the aquarium population is high, then the daily dosage may be doubled. The recommended dosage should not be exceeded.
If the recommended dosage is exceeded, then the aerobic micro-organism population may suddenly explode, creating turbid water and reducing the oxygen level within the aquarium. In such a situation, the water in the tank should be aerated using an air pump to increase oxygen in water. Stop using the product until the turbidity disappears.
